Wacom Bamboo

My damned wacom refuses to work. Anyone else have a Bamboo? I think its the... fun one or medium I dunno. Its got a little blue circle that lights up and came with a mouse. I think the usb wire for it is messed up somehow because my computer wont recognize it and the little blue light doesn't come on. Now I'm stuck without a way to draw my comics.
